Since we had pushed the front axle so far forward, the steering shaft could not be lengthened to reach the steering box from the column. I also needed to re-engineer at mounting bracket for the pump since that portion of the old frame was cut off and replaced. Seemed like a lot of work to get me back to what I had, so TGTW Offroad came through again and set me up with this dual ended PSC full hydro setup. The most challenging part of this was setting up the bull bar mount for the ram. This is a 'Barnes original' and I've had several compliments already. A couple people actually paid me the ultimate compliment and are going to copy my design for their rigs as well. Our original plan (and the one the tube was bent for) was over the springs. But there was no way to make this work, so I opted to place the big bar under them, and use the small hoop to go up and over the ram. The entire inside of the hoop is re-enforced with 3/8" plate. The tie rods where cut down and then setup so that I have about 1/2" to 3/4" adjustment in each direction to fine tune toe in.
